Genesis 6 through 9

The story of Noah is a very scary and powerful story to me. One part of the story that is very interesting to me is that it seems that God feels remorse for flooding the earth. In it he says he will never flood the earth again. One aspect that I enjoyed from it was that the wicked people of the earth had to pay for their actions. I also liked how direct and simple it was to read. One part I did not understand is why Noah cursed his son and grandson just because they saw him naked when he was drunk.
